Conspiracy Thinking in American History: with Attorney Mark Zaid and Journalist Gerald Posner

I hosted a video interview with attorney Mark Zaid and investigative journalist Gerald Posner about conspiracy thinking in American history. Both guests have previously been interviewed on this blog on topics related to 9/11 (Mark Zaid about the Able Danger program, Gerald Posner about the Saudi involvement), and have also appeared on my channel to discuss other conspiracy theories that persist in popular culture, such as the deaths of John F. Kennedy and Princess Diana.

In the interview, we explore several themes that also appear in 9/11-related conspiracy theories, such as the need for quick answers, the tendency to feel more informed than the general public, and a deep distrust in institutions.
